# JavaScript

JavaScript is a high-level, dynamically typed programming language. It has become a standard for web development and is widely used for both client-side and server-side programming.

## Differences between JavaScript and Java

### Java

- Statically typed variable and parameter types
- Compiler can check and report many errors at compile time

### JavaScript

- Types and data within variables and objects are able to change at runtime
- Interpreted language, meaning that the code is executed line by line at runtime

## JavaScript Objects

JavaScript objects are collections of key-value pairs, where the keys are strings and the values can be any data type, including other objects. Objects can be created using object literals or constructor functions.

### JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)

JSON is a lightweight data interchange format that is easy for humans to read and write, and easy for machines to parse and generate. It is based on a subset of the JavaScript programming language and is often used for transmitting data between a server and a web application.
